3ds Max Masterclass 2018
Following the success of our 3ds Max Masterclass at Expo'17, we're pleased to announce a follow-up masterclass that will delve deeper into the possibilities of 3ds Max for design visualisation.
The session will be presented by Autodesk's Media & Entertainment specialist Jean-Pierre van Gastel, who'll discuss different techniques including liquids, Arnold VR cameras, Arnold displacement, Arnold shaders, object paint, 3D characters, civil view, particle flow and asset management.
Jean-Pierre will also be looking at Autodesk's Industry Collections, and the other tools available in the Media & Entertainment Collection.
After the masterclass, we'll be welcoming Ollie Simmonds from Figment Productions to the stage, who'll be talking about what a VR rollercoaster is, how it works and therefore how it impacts content production. Ollie will discuss the technical and creative challenges unique to this kind of project, ways in which Figment have adapted their production workflow, and some of the tools and processes they've developed. He'll also talk about a couple of recent projects including Kraken Unleashed at Sea World and The Great LEGO Race at LEGOLAND Resorts Worldwide.
